World Heritage Centre plan for the city of Visby, Sweden.
The following project was developed during an internship experience in Region Gotland, organised through a collaboration between Uppsala Universitet, Campus Gotland and the City Architect Office in Visby, World Heritage Site.
The project commissioned by the municipality aims at investigating the possibility of creating a World Heritage Centre in the city, studying two publicly-owned buildings, both potential sites, and evaluating their adaptability to the new usage.

Gamla Apoteket was thus chosen to host the Centre, in its ground floor, with a possibility of expansion in the upper floors that are now hosting apartments but that in the future will be converted in offices.
